In June 2018, I accepted a job as the Publications and Communications Manager at the Council of Graduate Schools in Washington, DC. The position will allow me to remain engaged with the graduate community by writing, editing, and publishing resources concerning pressing issues in graduate education. It will also give me an opportunity to learn more about how to market these resources to stakeholders inside and outside the university. Despite the move outside academe, I will continue my history research and writing both online and in print.
